Deal Island – Dale "Sprigg" E. Webster, 61, of here passed away at home on December 5, 2023.

Born in Crisfield, he was the son of the late Gorman and Jacqueline (Benton) Webster. Dale was a waterman and worked for Billy Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Betty Jean Langenfelder.

He is survived by his daughter Nikki Webster (Trey Daniels III) of Princess Anne, and step – son Billy Donovan, grandchildren David Allen Griffin and Josie Lynn Webster, brothers Ronnie Humphress and his wife Meredith of Salisbury, Fred Webster and his wife Barbara of Delmar, MD and Myron and Joyce Duckworth of Deal Island.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Deal Island. Pastor Stevie Willing will officiate.
