Mardela – Christopher Scott Smith, 44, of here passed away at his home on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
Born in Salisbury on November 16, 1973, he was the son of Bruce & Barbara (Lane-Smith) Mason of Princess Anne, Md. Chris was born and raised and educated in Princess Anne. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp. in 1991. He loved fishing, cooking and his dog Dempsey.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Michelle Witmer and her husband Chris of Jersey Shore, PA and brother Ronald W. Smith, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Salisbury, Md., three nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne, Md. Rev. Tim Shawyer will officiate.
