Christina Flurer Morgan, 93, of Princess Anne, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on February 2, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Frederick J. Flurer and Della Sharrett Flurer. Her husband, Roland Morgan, Sr. died in 1991.

Christina was a loving and devoted mother to her children and family. She was an avid gardener who was very artistic and often drew things of nature and scenery. She was an accomplished pianist who enjoyed playing for her family.

She is survived by two children, Roland Morgan, Jr. and wife Gail and Elaine Morgan Chelton, all of Princess Anne; five grandchildren, Cynthia Chelton Crompton, Deborah Chelton Crippen, Mark Thomas Chelton, Heather Morgan Webster and Roland W. Morgan, III; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Katherine Bailey of Seaford, DE; a nephew; and two cousins, Henry Flurer of Princess Anne and Charles Flurer of Salisbury.

A brother, Frederick J. "Boots" Flurer, Jr. also preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1pm in St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery, located behind the Manokin Presbyterian Church in Princess Anne. Rev. Patricia Townsend and Pastor Fred Ward will officiate.
