Cheryl Lynn Schoeneman, 70, formerly of Forest Heights, MD, died Friday, November 26, at her home in Princess Anne, MD. She was born in Washington, DC, the oldest child of Robert Lee and Helen Schoeneman. After her 1969 graduation from Oxon Hill High School, Oxon Hill, MD, she continued her education at the University of Maryland, receiving her Nursing Degree in 1973. She went on to spend the next thirty years lovingly caring for the sick in hospital and nursing care facilities. She retired to a beautiful piece of land in Princess Anne with her partner and love of her life, Mark Bernhardt and their family of pets. Cheryl is survived by her two sisters, Myla Schoeneman and ValAnna Bruton (James) and her brother, Robert Schoeneman, Jr (Beth), three nephews, Jake, Aaron and Colin, and two nieces, Jamie and Anna as well as eight grand-niece/nephews. A private celebration of Cheryl's life will take place at a later date.
