Mt. Vernon- Maxine departed this life on April 5, 2014 surrounded by her belovedfamily. She was born the daughter of Massimo Pisani and Charlotte I. Cross on November 2, 1928, in Baltimore, MD. and graduated from Towson High School.
She was a charter member of the Mt. Vernon Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and also a 30 year member of American Legion Post #94 Auxiliary. Maxine never forgot a birthday, Hallmark loved her! She always kept her family and friends in mind and there was always a card in the mailbox on those special days. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind heart, and a sharp tongue that would tell you like it is! She loved her family dearly as well as her community of Mt. Vernon. She sat many a day enjoying the sunsets over the river from her back porch that brought her much joy!
Maxine is survived by her beloved family: sister Marlyn Heizer of Titusville, Fl. children Paul Masimore Jr. (Ruth) of S. Carolina, Stephanie Masimore Weitkamp (Kent) of Baltimore, MD., Dale and Darryl Webster (Barbara) of Mt. Vernon, Her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Jaclyn, Keith, Haley, Max and Nephew Craig Heizer. Many friends, especially the Kraft family and lifelong friend Mrs. Stanley Bozman.
Funeral Services are being held on Saturday, April 12th. at 1:00 PM at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne withvisitation two hours prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to The Make A Wish Foundation of Mid Atlantic, 9475 Deereco Road, Suite #306, Timonium, MD. 21093.
