Charles Edward Vaughn, 69, of Princess Anne, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born on February 17, 1946, at Kings Creek, he was the son of Charles Robert and Florence Hall Vaughn. Charles worked 35 years for Tri-State Insulation before retiring in 2007. He enjoyed gardening, working on his house, and decorating for his favorite Holiday, Christmas.
Charles is survived by his Loving Wife of 33 years, Julia, his daughter, Mary Ellen Vaughn Butler of Princess Anne , two stepsons, Robert Lipsett of Princess Anne and James Marvel of Salisbury, eight grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Kenneth, Chelsea, Robbie, Kimberly, Laura Lynn, and Chase. and nine great-grandchildren. He also survived by several cousins in the area as well as several relatives in Tennessee.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Margaret Bozman Vaughn.
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 1:00 PM. in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 To 8:00 PM. and on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. before the service. The Rev. David Webster will officiate. Interment will be held in Olivet Cemetery near Eden.
