Obituary

Charles "Ray" Noble, 73, Of Oriole, died Friday, July 6th. at The Coastal Hospice at the Lake, in Salisbury. Born in Oriole in 1939, he was the son of the late Charles and Charlotte Hickman Noble.
"Ray" worked as the Service Manager for Elliott and France Heavy Equipment, and volunteered his time working as the Black Smith at Furnace Town. He was a member of the Furnace Town Foundation, the Tuchahoe Steam and Gas Association, the ABANA Association and he served in the National Guard.
"Ray" is survived by two sons, Wade "Onion" Noble, of Oriole and Brian Noble and his wife Cecelia of Eden. Also Surviving are his brother Hal Noble of Salisbury and his Sister Valarie Watson of Laurel, Delaware.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife Patricia McCracken Noble.
A Graveside service is scheduled for Friday, July 13th. at 11:00 AM., in the St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery, in Princess Anne. The Rev. William Kniceley will officiate.
