On Sunday, April 18, 2021 Catherine Anne Culp, beloved wife and extraordinary mother passed away in her home in Allen, Maryland surrounded by husband and four children. Anne was born on November 17, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Carson Culp, daughter Esther Horst and son-in-law Michael Horst, daughter Barbara Rose and son-in-law Steve Rose, daughter Faith Culp, son Clayton Culp and Daughter-in-law Jamie Culp; grandchildren Erin Wilson, Wiley O'Daniel, Katelyn Arcement, Hailey Wilberger, Brendan Wilberger, Calvin Culp, Nola Culp, Julian Culp; great grandchildren Coleman Wilson, Casey Wilson, and Aubrey O'Daniel with more to come.
She is preceded in death by her father Dr. Eugene Weinbach, her mother Lois Spillman, and her brother Paul Weinbach.
Anne was a family-maker who was fiercely loyal to her loved ones, profoundly honest, and particularly passionate about instilling independence in her children. She was a woman of faith who enjoyed going to the movies, TOPS, people watching, sweets, bowling, Disney World, Cherrystone Campground, the Price-is-Right, QVC, shelling at the beach, taking care of children and most of all time spent with her family.
An outdoor funeral service will be held at Allen Asbury United Methodist Church at 26679 Collins Warf Road, Allen, Maryland 21810 at 11:30a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, with a reception to follow. Friends and family will be received at 10:30a.m. in front of the church.
