Carolyn Ann Hilker, 70, of Princess Anne for the past 30 years, and formerly of Baltimore, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury.
Born in Baltimore on September 12, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Eugene McCarty and Florence Goloweski Dixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-brothers Gene Dixon, Jerry Dixon, Timothy Dixon, and Michael Dixon.
She was a retired computer scale operator at Baltimore Resco Refuse Energy Systems Company and she was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baltimore.
She loved her family, and she adored doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 56 years, George Francis Hilker, Sr. of Princess Anne; two children, George Francis Hilker, Jr. and Lisa Earll and her spouse Michael Pabich, all of Princess Anne; a brother, Ronald Baker of Tennessee; a sister, Sonia Tamberino of Baltimore, five grandchildren, Emily Renee Hilker, Alexandria Hilker, George Hilker, III, Cedric Pabich, and Roman Pabich; three great-grandchildren, Giavaya Romano, Lillian Norton, and Graylyn Hilker; step-siblings, Julie Benner, Eddie McCarty, David McCarty and Linda Corressel of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Hinman Funeral Home with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
