Captain Lindley Allen Lentz

Salisbury: Captain Lindley Allen Lentz, 82 of here , formerly of Allen, (1960-2003) died Friday, Oct. 15th at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury . Born in Cumberland, Md, he was a son of the late Herbert J.J. Lentz and Loula Hines Allen Lentz. A former Lieutenant in the US Navy, Captain Lentz was a ships captain and Master Mariner of the Merchant Marine who retired in 1993 from Sealand Services after 43 years .

A member of Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Salisbury, Captain Lentz was also a member of Wicomico Lodge No 91 AF & AM, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the York Rite of Masonry and a Member of Boumi Temple of the Shrine in Baltimore.

Captain Lentz is survived by a brother, Carroll N. Lentz and his wife, Patricia of Allen, A Niece and her husband, Linda and Mike Donnelly of Texas, Two nephews, Rick Lentz of Pennsylvannia, and Eric Lentz and his wife of Rachel of Hawaii. Captain Lentz was preceeded in death by a Brother Herbert J.J. Lentz, Jr. A sister Alice Doretta Lentz and sister in Law was Elsie Waller Lentz

A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11: AM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne . Interment will be in Allen Cemetery in Allen. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 to 8: PM and on Tuesday one hour prior to service time. A Masonic Service will be held at 8 :00 PM Monday evening at the Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, 31525 John Deere Road, Salisbury, Md. 21804.
