Burgess Somers Blevins of Westover, Maryland and most recently St. Ignatius, Montana, died suddenly on Sunday, September 27th on the farm where he was raised and where he hunted until his final day. Born January 30, 1942, Burgess passed at the age of 73. He was a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Art and had a career as a world class professional photographer. He was also a renowned bow hunter. Burgess was blessed with three sons and a daughter, five grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, and a long time-partner.
Burgess is on his journey to stardust. He is greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 6:00 PM at Peaky's Restaurant in Princess Anne, Md. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
