Brenda Ann Benton, 73, of Wenona, Maryland was welcomed into Heaven on Thursday, August 4,2016. She was born July 28,1943 to Arthur Daniels and the late Ladelle Daniels. Waiting for her at the Pearly Gates were her mother, her brother, Terry Daniels, Sr., her sister and granddaughter Brenda and Stephanie Leigh.
Brenda spent 16 years as the First lady of Broomes Island Wesleyn Church and 20 years at Faith Independent Church in Wenona. She was a woman of God, always sharing her testimony, love and kindness to everyone she met. She leaves behind a Host of Friends who she loved dearly.
She is survived by Sonny Benton her husband and the father of their children, Daniel Benton and Jill, Stephen Benton and wife Robin, Andrew Benton and Karen, and her daughter and special nurse, Deborah. She is also survived by the Loves of her life, her grandchildren: Eric and his wife Alicia, chase, Kayla, Kylie, Justin, Faith, Brooke and Logan. Great Grandchildren Malayla, Riley, and Finley. Also surviving are her sister and best friend Ginny Hoffman and husband albert, and brothers Bob Daniels and wife Janice and Stan Daniels and wife Ruth. She also leaves behind Eric and Chases mother Chantal Russem, her stepmother Stella Daniels and her sister-in-law Beatrice Daniels.
Brenda's homecoming service will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Faith Independent Church in Wenona, Md. A viewing will be held prior to the service between 1:30 and 3:00 PM. Officiating will be her brother Rev. Bob Daniels, assisted by Rev. Webster and Rev. Barry.
