Betty Lee Renshaw, 87,, of Princess Anne died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne. Born in Hebron on July 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ida Williams Moore Richardson and Louis Moore, Sr.. Betty was a homemaker, and had worked for 24 years at the Fruitland School. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and served as President of the Friendship Class of the Church. She was also a member of AARP and the Somerset County Mac Center in Princess Anne.
She is survived by three children, Cynthia Ann Somers and her husband Jim of Parsonsburg, Phillip Renshaw and his wife Pati, of Princess Anne, and John Renshaw and his wife Judy, also of Princess Anne. Eight Grandchildren, Philicia Northam, John Franklin Renshaw, Jr., Crystal Renshaw Thomas, Lee Ann Evans, James Somers III, Jennifer Mowbray, Michael Mowbray, Jr. and Clarence Hearn. She also leaves behind fourteen Great-grandchildren.
Preceding Betty in death in addition to her parents were her husband Phillip "Buck" Renshaw, a daughter Linnie Susan Mowbray, her grandson, John Phillip Renshaw, a brother, Louis William Moore and her stepfather, Wilmer Richardson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon. Officiating will be the Rev. William Kniceley.
