Betty Jane Langenfelder, 79, of Chance, passed away on January 20, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Baltimore on September 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lancaster and Margaret (Webster) Ward.
Betty worked as an accounting clerk for the Board of Education in Anne Arundel County and later the Gordon's Jewelers in Annapolis.
She is survived by her children, John Steven Langenfelder of Glen Burnie, Md. and Butch A. Langenfelder and his wife Sharon of Bel Air, Md., four grandchildren, Austin G. Langenfelder, Abigail M. Langenfelder, Cory S. Langenfelder, and David W. Langenfelder and longtime companion Dale Webster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, John G. Langenfelder.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. in Princess Anne, Md. where friends may call from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Rev. David Webster will officiate. Interment will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 29, 2018 at New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore, Md.
