Betsy Sue Riggin, 29, of Eden and Baltimore died May 6, 2010 at her home in Baltimore City.

Born on July 30, 1980 in Galena, Illinois, she was a daughter of Weldon Joseph Riggin and Cathy DuBord Staver.

Betsy graduated from Galena High School in Galena, Illinois, then pursuing a career in business management. She was employed by Canteen Services of Baltimore City as Food Service Director. She enjoyed life, family and friends in her short time here.

Betsy is survived by her parents, Weldon (Kathy) Riggin, Eden, Cathy (Bob) Staver, Illinois; maternal grandparents, Charles (Karen) DuBord, Illinois; paternal grandmother, Martha Riggin, Eden; sisters, Jessica Riggin, Snow Hill, Katie Riggin, Eden, Annie Riggin, Delmar and brother, David Bauer, Illinois. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Sally Helber, Illinois, Raymond (Teresa) Riggin, Snow Hill, Russel (Linda) Wadkins, Whitesburg, Wendell Riggin, Princess Anne, Robert Pasquith, Eden, Teresa (Sam) Owens, Snow Hill, David (Shannon) DuBord and Ronald DuBord, Illinois; niece, Camden Bauer, Illinois and nephews, Cainan Bauer, Illinois, Sutton Walton, Delmar and Weston Riggin, Eden. She is also survived by her loving cousins and many friends both here and Illinois.

Betsy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Buell "Hook" Riggin, Eden and her Uncle Charlie DuBord, Illinois.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday at 1pm at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Rev. Gary Smith will be officiating. A memorial service will also be held in Illinois.
