Benjamin "Ben" James Walston, Jr., 73, of here passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his residence.
Born on January 4, 1944 in Fairmount, he was the son of the late Benjamin J. Walston, Sr. and Hilda (Shelton) Walston. Ben loved to fish and go crabbing. He enjoyed gardening and riding his bicycle everywhere.
Ben is survived by his wife, Shirley Hall Walston of Princess Anne, Md. and sister, Annie Walston of Fruitland, Md.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A., 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverend William Knicely will officiate. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, West Post Office Rd., in Princess Anne.
