Princess Anne – Barbara Porter Thomas Dashiell, 89 of Princess Anne, MD joined her Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born on June 17, 1933 in Princess Anne to Martha Hedges Porter and Lynn Porter. She attended Beauty School and after her marriage to Wallace Dashiell, she became a loving housewife. She was a member of the Church of God in Princess Anne.

She was a devoted wife of 45 years to Wallace Millard Dashiell.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Thomas (Donna), grandchildren Lance Thomas (Kristen), and  Matthew Thomas, great grandchildren, Trent, Karyn, and Dylan Thomas, step grandchildren, Andy Ross, Katie Galloway, and Tami Langthorn, nieces Gail Hall (Tom) and Joyce Mason and cousin Martha Ann Duggar.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Norman Lawrence Thomas, husband Wallace Millard Dashiell, parents Martha and Lynn Porter, brother Tink Porter and sister-in-law Addie Porter and her beloved fur baby, Bear.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A. in Princess Anne, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tim Shawyer will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery.
