Barbara Ann Powell, 75, of Princess Anne died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD. Born August 22, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley Holland and Mabel Grace Bromley Holland. Barbara graduated from Washington High, and worked as Head Teller, retiring from Peninsula Bank after 22 years. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Princess Anne, MD.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in law donna and Kenneth Rice of Clearbrook, VA., two grandchildren Samantha Rice and her fiancé Robert Peterson III, and Olivia Rice.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Powell.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Princess Anne. Friends may call at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday evening. Interment will follow the service on Saturday in the Olivet Christian Cemetery near Eden.
