Obituary

CHANCE—BARBARA LEE FORD WILLING died in her home surrounded by her family on December 1. 2010. Born August 16 , 1941 she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Anna Louise Ford of Dames Quarter. Barbara graduated from Deal Island High School in 1959 along with her high school sweetheart Jack Willing who she married on March 12 ,1960. Mrs. Willing worked several years as a telephone operator for C & P Telephone Co. She was also a proud 20 year breast cancer survivor. Barbara was an excellent mother, grandmother, and wife, who took great pride in keeping an immaculate home and cooking delicious meals for her family. Her greatest pride in life was her family.
In addition to her husband ,she is survived by two daughters, Cindy Anderson and her husband David of Chance, and Jackie Haymaker and her boyfriend Keith Tull of Whaleyville. Five Grandchildren, Sarah Anderson, David Anderson, and his girlfriend Adriana of Chance, Bobby Kemp and his fiancé Sarah of Fruitland, Brittany Kemp and Joey Haymaker of Mount Vernon. A sister Jean Bozman and her husband Buster of Princess Anne. Three sisters-in-law Dorothy Webster of Chance, Jane Ellis(Richard) and Elsie Parks (Alvin) and a brother-in law Randy Revell all of Salisbury. Two special cousins Edwin Ford and his wife Jane and Nancy Carroll of Salisbury. Two special nieces and a nephew, Shirley Massey, Sharon Muir, and Andrew Webster all of Chance , and numerous other beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Jack Willing Jr., a sister Zuliema "Topsy" Revell, and a nephew Andy Revell.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Dec 4th at 2:00 PM. In the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev.Steven Willing will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Rock Creek Cemetery in Chan
