Arthur L. Murray III, 86, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Born in Washington, D.C. on July 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Arthur and Lula (Sullivan) Murray Jr. He was an electrician by trade and a member of I.B.E.W. #26 for 45 years and Knights of Columbus. Arthur enjoyed gardening, riding his Harley and was devoted to his family, especially the children.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Murray in 2015.
He is survived by his four children, Sharon Harris and her husband Bill, Robert G. Murray and his wife Kathy, Christine L. Preston and her husband Gary, and Timothy W.P. Murray, five grandchildren, Tony, Tim Jr., Katie Mae, Jacob and Sean, eight great-grandchildren, Riley Marie, Gavin, Griffin, Tim III, Keegan, Rowan, and Dusty Rose.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A., 11673 Somerset Ave. in Princess Anne, Md.
