Fairmount – Anna Dize, 84, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD

She was born on July 2, 1940 to the late Norris and Elizabeth Taylor. She was a homemaker and worked in the family seafood business.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank Dize, and siblings, Bobby Taylor, Dean Taylor, Van Taylor, Julia Meredith and Helen Yarish.

Anna is survived by her son Brian Dize (Kelly) and grandchildren Emily and Rose Dize. Anna's greatest joy was working side by side with Bria at the crab house and on the workboat, and she had an amazing work ethic with her final day of oystering at 79 years of age.

Anna is survived by her daughter Lisa Anderson and grandchildren Nick Dize (Kristy) and Cati Bedsworth (Tony), and great – grandchildren Colin Dize and Blake, Tessa, and Gemma Bedsworth who showed wonderful love, compassion and provided Mom-Mom many meaningful photos to help her keep memories alive with the ongoing memory loss.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 6-8PM at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, MD. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fairmount Cemetery. Pastor Bob Daniels will officiate.
