Allen Wayne Wilson, 62, of Westover, died Saturday at Mc Cready Hospital in Crisfield. Born in Salisbury on December 30, 1951 he was the son of the late Sam Wilson Sr. and Lula Shockley Wilson. Allen graduated from Washington High and worked for Mount Aire in Princess Anne. He was a devoted grandfather, loved to garden, deer hunt, was a member of NRA, and an avid Orioles Fan.
He is survived by a daughter Karen Olsen and her husband Dean of Pocomoke and a son Daniel W. Wilson also of Pocomoke, six grandchildren, Allen, Alexis, Dean Jr., Lee Anne, Daniel Jr., and Brendon. He is also survived by two sister Janice Bailey of Westover, and Peggy Hall of Princess Anne, one brother David Wilson of Princess Anne, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were two brothers Samuel Wilson Jr. and Alvin Wilson, and a sister Joan Spady Wright.
A Funeral service will be held on Friday July 25, 2014, at 2:00 PM in the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne.
A Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Spring Hill Memorial Gardens in Hebron. Jimmy Marriner will officiate.
