Alice Doretta Lentz

Seabring,Fla-Alice Doretta Lentz, 88, of Seabring died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.
Born in Baltimore on May 7, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J.J. Lentz, Sr. and Loula Allen Lentz.
Ms. Lentz had served in the U.S. navy as a surgical nurse. She was employed at Sloan Kettering Memorial Cancer Hospital in New York for 40 years before retiring to Sebring.
She is survived by two brothers, Capt. Lindley A. Lentz of Salisbury and Carroll N. Lentz and his wife, Mary Patricia Lentz of Allen; a nephew, Eric N. Lentz of Pearl City, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by brother, Herbert J.J. Lentz, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Allen Cemetery in Allen. Rev. David Michaud will officiate.
