Alan Leonard Widdowson, 66, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 from complications of Diabetes. Born in Salisbury, on Dec. 29, 1945, he was the son of the late John M. Widdowson Sr. and Nancy L. Widdowson.
He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Clarke, of Glen Burnie, Stephanie Briddelle of Salisbury and Laurie Feret of Laurel, Del. son Sgt. 1st. Class Michael Alan Widdowson of Clarksville, TN. Granddaughters, Amanda Hastings of Salisbury, Amber Hastings of Crofton, Julia Widdowson of Clarksville,TN. and Tiffany Beth West of Laurel, Del. Grandsons, Patrick and Andrew Clarke of Severn, Tyler Briddelle of Salisbury, and William Deshawn West of Laurel, DE. and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and brother-n-law, N. Brenda Howard and Wayne L. Howard of Salisbury, an Uncle and Aunt, Richard and Mary Ann Widdowson of Clayton, Ohio, and and Aunt Mary DiCampli, of Wilmington, DEL. and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents his older brother John Merle Widdowson Jr. recently passed away, on March 9, 2012.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at 5:00 PM. at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, Md.
