Deal Island – Alan Julius Webster, Jr. 46, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Salisbury, Md. on March 6, 1972, he was the son of Alice (Mister) Webster of Deal Island, and the late Alan J. Webster, Sr. He graduated from Washington High School in 1990 and started working as a carpenter and a waterman on Deal Island. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Wenona, MD. His favorite past time was fishing. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and just being with his friends and family. He was a friend to everyone who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Glenn A. Webster (Karen) of Pocomoke, MD, Jay Webster (Marianne) of Tennessee and Hannah Ruark (Michael) of Salisbury, MD. Nieces and nephews, Josh, Kurt, Melinda, Brittany, Ethan, Jacob and Alysa. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His grandparents, Julius Webster and Hannah Webster Twilley, and Mervin and Mary Mister, a nephew Jay Alan Webster Jr. and his girlfriend Audrey Cutright also preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Wenona with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Webster will officiate.
