Alan Barr Holland, 55 of Westover passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his home. Born in Crisfield, on September 25, 1959, he was the son of the late Thelma French Armstrong and Aubrey Thomas Holland. Alan worked as a Carpenter and in Sales. Mr. Holland was also a waterman and a member of Sons of the Legion.
He is survived by his Wife Samueline Wilson Holland, a daughter, Jennifer Upman and Husband Andrew of Fairmount, two sons, Alan Michael Holland of Fairmount and Christopher Ruark of Fruitland. Also surviving are his granddaughters, Dixie Mae and Autum Upman of Fairmount and Shelby Holland of Greenbackville, Va. Three Sisters, Karen Holland Parker of Salisbury, Debbie Stanley of Salisbury, and Dottie Lessard and husband Rick of Sperryville, VA., a half-brother, Jerry Holland of Florida, along with his Aunt, Pauline Jones of Salisbury and several other Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Besides his parents, preceding him in death were his brother, Aubrey Thomas Holland, his grandson Matthew Holland, Grandmothers Esther French and Ida Holland, Grandfathers Gorman French and Aubrey Holland.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, at the Liberty Rock Church near Crisfield. Rev. Nolan Ford will Officiate.
