Al Mason, 88, of Princess Anne died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Al was born on March 1, 1924, in Elizabeth City N.C. He enlisted in the Navy in 1942 and served during the war in the Pacific theatre. He was later employed by Chris Craft of Salisbury before joining Selby Sign Co. of Pocomoke City, where he retired after more than 30 years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth Marriner Mason; and his sons, Bradford F. Mason of Salisbury and David L. Mason of Princess Anne.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Perryhawkin Christian Cemetery near Princess Anne. Donations may be made to Perryhawkin Christian Cemetery c/o Dorothy Culver, PO Box 165, Princess Anne, Md. 21853.
