Obituary




Aileen T. Webster, 84 of here died on Saturday, March 10th at Aurora Senior Living in Princess Anne. Born on October 2, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Leon Webster and Julia Horseman Webster. Mrs. Webster had worked as a seamstress. Mrs. Webster was Past Worthy Matron of the former Manokin Chapter No 109, Order of the Eastern Star in Princess Anne, a member of the Council of Pocohontas, Tony Tank Tribe No 149 of the Redmen in Fruitland and was a Past district President of the American Legion Auxilary as well as Past President, Vice President and secretary of OT Beauchamp Unit 94 of the American Legion Auxilary in Princess Anne.
Aileen was a wonderful wife, mother , grandmother, sister and aunt who touched a lot of hearts. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends
Her late husband was James O. Webster. They were married for 53 years.
She is survived by her special nieces, Fran Whitelock and her husband, Bruce of Chance, and Patte Dryden of Chance, two sisters, Mrs. Alverta Hoffman of Wenona
and Mrs. Juanita Adams and her husband , Rev. Charles "Lindy" Adams of Wenona, two brothers, Jennings Webster and his wife Alice of Princess Anne, and Billy Adkins of Florida, a sister in law, Janice Webster Webb of Pocomoke City, a grandson, James Webster III of Hagerstown, a daughter in law, Donna Webster of Hagerstown and several nieces and nephews as well as a special friend, Evan "Boo Boo" Cole Dryden of Chance. Late brothers were Guy Bradshaw, Clyde Webster, and Leon Webster. Late sisters were J. Frances Webster, Frances Webster and Irene Webster
A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 2:00 PM at St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Wenona. The Rev Bob Daniels assisted by David Webster will officiate. Interment will be held in Beechwood Cemetery in Princess Anne. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Hinman Funeral home in Princess Anne and on Thursday at St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Wenona from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. An Eastern Star Service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM.
