    Dear Terry,
I am so sorry to hear about Betty’s death. What a shock. I am very sorry to have missed seeing you and your family at the funeral this morning. I had planned to come but I could not leave work. I send my deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know your family will support you. Your grandchildren will brighten your day, I am certain. Again, I am so sorry for all of you. Take care, Lou Elin
