Audrey Arlene Kellermeyer

Princess Anne – On April 26, 2023, at the age of 93, Audrey Arlene Kellermeyer passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.  She was born on October 20, 1929 in Johnstown, PA.  She was the daughter of the late William Henry Parsons and Jenny Marie Parsons.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene L. Kellermeyer, Sr. in 2013.  She is survived by 6 children:  Terry Rust (Ed), Gene Kellermeyer, Jr., Bruce Kellermeyer (Beth), Dawn Raschen (Bill), Lois Deck (James), and Ruth Noseworthy (Jeff).  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 8 siblings, all of whom she dearly loved.  She counted herself blessed to be part of such an extraordinarily large and loving family.

In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she retired in 1994 from the Department of Defense and moved to the Eastern Shore.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, and listening to Gospel music.  She particularly loved spending time with her family and her church family.  She was a testimony to many, sweet, kind and generous, with a deep abiding faith in Jesus.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church of Princess Anne, MD.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 or www.gideons.org.

My deepest sympathy to Arlene’s family and friends. I consider myself truly blessed to have known her for over 60 years and to have been one of her sisters in Christ. To my family, she has been, and always will be, “Aunt Arlene” and a spiritual inspiration to all. She will be greatly missed. ❤️
