Salisbury – Glendon Jay Bailey passed away on January 30, 2023 at Hospice on the Lake in Salisbury, MD.
Born in Salisbury MD he was the son of the late Raymond J. Bailey and the late Nancy Ellen Rosalie (Howard) Bailey. He was employed by various automotive companies as a Parts Salesman until he retired. Mr. Bailey was a volunteer Firefighter at the Salisbury Fire Department and the Hebron Fire Department before he retired. He was a diehard football and fan and never missed a game no matter what team was playing.
He is survived by his daughter Natalie M. Bailey and grandson Eugene Mullins IV; two sisters Nancy Pletcher of Moorsville, NC and Maggi Weidler of Salisbury, MD; One twin brother Raymond R. Bailey of Salisbury, MD; niece Traci Tull (Mark Tull) of Hurlock, MD as well as several other niece and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the Hebron Fire Department 200 South Main St. P.O. Box 300 Hebron, MD 21830.
