Clara Mae White Bozman Brittingham passed away on Thursday, July 14, at the age of 90. She was born on January 26, 1932, in Wenona, Md., the youngest of 10 children of Perry Franklin and Annie Parkinson White. After raising her children, she was proud of being certified as a home health care aide, and worked in that profession until she retired. Clara Mae was a woman of great faith, and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She was blessed with two great marriages, and enjoyed netting crabs with her first husband Floyd Bozman, Sr. (he always let her stand in the bow of the boat) and traveling with her second husband, Tommy Brittingham.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Clara Mae was preceded in death by a daughter, Heidi Sue Bozman, stepson Johnny Brittingham, brothers Little Perry, Philip, William, and Perry Junior, sisters Pearl, Edna, Elaine, and Hyacinth, She is survived by a brother, Steve White (Diane), children Valerie Bozman Funk, Floyd Bozman, Jr., (Kathy), Sam Bozman, stepdaughter Terri Ward (Don), grandchildren Brent Bozman (Trista), Cole Bozman (Turner), and Kelsey Amrhein (Mike), great grandchildren Julian, Jackson, and Kirra Amrhein, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole, MD. Rev. Tim Shawyer will officiate.
