Dorothy Anne Price

Dorothy Anne Price, 86, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.

Born December 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Elizabeth Collier Webster. Anne married Edward “Bunky” Price on August 20, 1949. They were married 64 years at the time of Bunky’s passing in 2014.

She was a member of the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and her biggest joy was taking care of her grandchildren, spending many hours in the ditches of Venton, collecting artifacts in the fields of Somerset County or just reading a book.

She is survived by her children, Robert Lee Price and his wife Carol, and daughter in law Lori Price, of Princess Anne, grandchildren Eddie Price (Jane) of Traverse, MI, Andy Price (Brittany), and Nicholas Price, all of Princess Anne, great grandchildren Caroline, Grayson, Adler, and Grady Price, sister Marian Price, brother in law Ronnie Price and sister in law Lois Hoffman as well as countless nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was preceded in death by a son, Alan “Jaye” Price and grandson Patrick Robert Price, brother Donald Webster, sister Carolyn Bozman and step-father, Clyde Webster.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A., 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. 21853, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Bonnie Stone will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anne’s memory to the Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Dept., 11974 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. 21853
