Westover- Ruth Virginia Farrow, 96, passed away Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving caregivers.
Born July 10, 1920 in Westover, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and June Thompson Farrow. She graduated from Washington High School. Miss Ruth was a homemaker and assisted her late brother in his accounting business. Many times she took on the role of caregiver, taking care of the sick or elderly family members. Miss Ruth was a very kind and caring person, always putting the needs of others as more important than her own. She lived her life always believing that it was better to give than to receive. She was a faithful member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Westover. She served on many committees during her lifetime.
Miss Ruth is survived by a brother, Irving Farrow of Salisbury and two nephews, Steve Farrow of Wyoming, Ohio and Douglas Sellers of Salisbury as well as several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Farrow and two sisters, Annabel Gochnour and Grace Sellers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church on Revells Neck Rd. in Westover. A viewing will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017, from 6-8 P.M. at Hinman Funeral Home, P.A., 11673 Somerset Ave., Princess Anne, Md. 21853. Pastor Pat Hanley will officiate. Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery.

The family will be forever grateful for the wonderful care Miss Ruth received from her caregivers and Coastal Hospice.
