Charles Kenneth Shockey, 79, of Chance, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md.
He was born in Baltimore on February 8, 1938 to the late Kenneth & Frances Tyler Shockey. Charles was an electrician having worked for Bethlehem Steel, U.S. Coast Guard, Marine Corp., and David Taylor Research in Annapolis. He was a Marine Corp. veteran.
Charles is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Waller Shockey, daughters Michelle Mavronis and her husband Angelo of Glenelg, Md. and Robin Washburn of Rising Sun, Md., grandchildren, George, Charlie and Evan Mavronis and Cory, Floyd, Alex & Christopher Washburn, sister-in-laws, Barbara Denston and Wanda Henderson of Princess Anne, and brother-in-law, Robert Waller and his wife Barbara of Merritt Island, Fla.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastors David Webster and David Diskin will officiate.
