“Hoppie”, as we knew her at Deer’s Head Hospital, was a dedicated caregiver. We always knew that patients on her watch were in good hands. She was well-respected by her co-workers and had a smile for everyone. She’s home free now.

When I think of Hippie I think of her caring nature and her willingness to take care of her patients with such love and kindness. She always went to West Virginia in the fall and always brought me some beautiful apples from there. She and I shared many recipes throughout our years together. God has certainly gained a beautiful angel. Rest in peace oh faithful servant.

  • Will not say “goodbye” Hoppie but will just say “SEE YOU LATER.” Will miss those spirited
conversations with you and hearing those stories about my grandmother. You were loved by family, co workers, nursing home personnel and many friends. See you on the other side.

I have lots of great memories of my Aunt Dorothy. She was kind and generous….and she was a scream! We had lots of laughs. I just can’t wait to see her again and share an eternity together.

Dot – you were one of a kind! I know we “tortured” you with therapy, but we loved you and will miss you. Say hi to Rudy for me. Gracie and Marcus with surely miss you. Goodbye sweet friend.

  • Hoppie, what a pleasure it was to work with you all those years at Deer’s Head. I learned early in my nursing career that an RN has much to learn from a dedicated and experienced nursing assistant. I am glad I had the opportunity to visit you in November. Rest in peace cherished co-worker.
